Lord, I stand in your presence. I offer you this new day, received from your goodness. I love you, I want to listen to you and learn from you. Tell me who you are, what your heart desires, how to love and follow you.
Why do you speak to us of your cross? Why do you tell me today in the Gospel not to say that you are the Messiah?
Show me what is pleasing in your eyes. Open my heart and my whole being to appreciate what is precious to you.
Make me love your ways, Lord!
