Listen to me and answer me, Lord,

because I am afflicted and helpless.

Guard my soul, watch over me,

Save me my God, I trust in you.

You are my God, have mercy on me;

I cry to you all day long.

My soul rejoices,

because, O Lord, I lift up my soul to you.

Your Lord, you are good and forgiving,

full of love and mercy for those who call on you.

Hear my prayer,

Pay attention to the voice of my supplications.

I cry to you on the day of my anguish,

because you always answer me.

Oh Lord, no one like you,

No work is like yours.

Teach me, Lord, your way and I will walk in your truth;

strengthen my heart with the fear of your name.

Lord my God, I will praise you and give thanks with all my heart,

and I will glorify your name forever.

You, Lord, merciful and gracious God,

slow to anger, full of love and loyalty,

look at me, and have mercy on me;

grant me your strength,

and keep me as your son.
