I lit a candle for you, my Lord Even though offered to Mary Or to one of the Saints in this church It is something small, a sign.
It is a sign that I wish to stay a few seconds in silence with You.
It is a sign of my certainty that you are present that you consider me and that you are not a stranger to my life and to my problems.
It is a sign of my desire that it may be Light because you enlighten me during my difficulties in my choices and in my decisions;
may it be Fire because you burn the egoism, pride, malice in me;
may it be Flame because you warm my heart and teach me to love.
My Lord, I cannot stay long in this church and leaving this candle to burn, I want to offer you something of mine.
Help me prolong this prayer in today's activities. Amen
